Fascinated by the incredible healing powers of the Reishi mushroom, I created this artwork as an ode to one of the most powerful remedies on our planet. In traditional Chinese medicine, Reishi has been considered the most effective natural medicine for over 2000 years, and also in Japan it is regarded as a panacea, something that cures all ills. It gives vitality and longevity, is antiviral, anticarcinogenic, anti-inflammatory and immunemodulating.
Reishi has a healing effect on stress, tinnitus, cancer, insomnia, multiple sclerosis, menstrual disorders, migraines, fibromyalgia, rheumatism, inflammation, immune deficiency, depressive moods, burnout and is balancing on all organs.
I could truly sing an ode to this mushroom. The spores of the fungus are particularly valuable. When I tried this "food of the Gods" (as I like to call it) for the first time, I had to laugh with joy. That is pure vitality!
