The painting acts as a powerful gate for your dreams to get anchored on earth and eventually manifest. From vision to reality, from dream to embodied experience, you will be lovingly guided throughout the whole creation of your artwork.
Two approaches of painting will be introduced:

THE MISCHTECHNIK

The Mischtechnik is a beautiful process of painting alternately with egg tempera and oil paint. White egg tempera is used to gradually build up tonal values. Then oil paint is applied in thin, semi-transparent glazes. The layers of egg tempera and oil glaze can be built on top of each other countless times, allowing for great dimensionality within the artwork. Beautiful effects of transparency, luminosity and detail can be achieved with this technique.
INDIRECT OIL PAINTING TECHNIQUE

Also the faster technique of indirect oil painting will be shown and explained to participants. Typically, the artwork is started with a monochromatic underpainting and more colors are introduced subsequently.
Both techniques can be applied within the same artwork.
Whether you are just beginning your painting journey or are already a seasoned artist, you will be guided and supported on your individual level.

SEMINAR PLACE
The seminar takes place at the Brunnbachschule in the Kalkalpen National Park. In a beautiful and quiet location, with numerous hiking opportunities right in front of the house, the seminar location offers an ideal place for inspiration and relaxation.

Some of the materials will be provided and included in the price.
After registering, you will receive a list of materials to bring with you.

The arrival on August 23rd, 2024 is possible from 3 p.m.
We start the course with a shared dinner at 6 p.m., followed by a welcome circle.
The course finishes with lunch on Sunday, around 1-2 p.m.
